To celebrate to arrival of the Lunar New Year, Seattle Mandopop duo Chinese American Bear release brand new single 'Dim Sum (点心)', a Velvet Underground-inspired psychedelic celebration of Chinese food culture.

"Dim Sum is a popular Chinese brunch that's comprised of a variety of small dishes - different kinds of buns, dumplings, baos, noodles, meats, etc. Growing up, I often went to dim sum with my family on weekends and wanted to write about those fun and yummy memories. As an adult, dim sum is still one of my favorite weekend meals to eat. I personally love the rice noodles and chicken feet haha." - Anne
"We wrote this song a while back, but didn't get around to finishing it until recently. We were definitely channeling The Velvet Underground at the time, with more sugary vibes. My favorite line in the song is at the very end - "Dim sum, ohh dim sum, ohh dim sum, ohhhhh yum... yum." - Bryce
