Akousmata draws on the ancient practice of transmitting knowledge and wisdom through silence and spoken word: these tracks are minimalistic soundscapes—floating between the audible and the unseen, like whispered truths carried through time.
The space between the notes is as significant as the sounds themselves, inviting reflection and quiet contemplation while listening. Each piece lingers in the tension of stillness and resonance, embodying the Pythagorean belief in the harmony of the spheres, where silence was as potent as sound.
Textures rise and dissolve, mirroring the ebb and flow of esoterical teachings passed from one generation to the next, as if the harmonic vibrations themselves carry hidden meanings.
Akousmata invites listeners to lose themselves in the spaces and dimensions where sound fades into silence—where the wisdom of the ancients continues to whisper.
