The great flood is coming they say. At times it feels as though it’s already here. How does one stay afloat in such troubled waters? This album is our reflection in the rising tides of our times. In moments of stillness we can see ourselves again, remember why we’re here, what we need, and who we love. We cannot change the nature of the world, but through love and music we shall overcome. The Flood was recorded and produced at home in isolation during the pandemic. Thank you to all our beautiful friends and family for their endless love and support. Ciervo Duo is an act of love. They've spent over a decade crafting and performing jazz, blues, folk, and soul music. The pairing consists of the smooth vocal stylings of Rachel Deery over the intricate guitar arrangements of Ozzwald Ozzington.
