NICHTS NEUES IM WESTEN is long ago the Michalak family fleeing Poland, circa 1939 at the invasion of Nazi Germany and as of late is the Ukrainian people fighting the long fight on home soil against invading Russian forces. PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES is the railroad tracks that weave through the city, the rise and fall of nations, and the machines that travel through space in all directions but always bound by time. PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES is thesis and antithesis that surge forward, moving at the speed of light and back round again. PLANES, TRAINS, AND AUTOMOBILES is:

Live takes recorded in a single day on 4 mics in the choir room of the Illinois Mathematics & Science Academy, March 20 of 2024. Mixed and mastered in MTC and at home in the following weeks.
