film and realizing the murder of the girl in the beginning draws a parallel to your own past relationships - knowing the girl will get
murdered/knowing the relationship will be the death of you. The lyrics of this song make comparisons between toxic relationships
and classic horror movie tropes. While being upbeat and energetic thanks to the fast and complex drums, the gritty guitar riffs and
the powerful vocals; "Dead" also brings a somewhat spooky soundscape into the mix to further tie into the theme of the lyrics.
