mother love by assholeknife
mother love is the new album from assholeknife, consonant collective's house noise band currently consisting of katie haegele, chris baldys, and joe carlough. the album was released in conjunction with katie haegele's zine essay, i'm in a noise band, illustrated by alison lee chapman. the album is available as digital download or 8" lathe cut vinyl, cut in our studio using a ~1947 Rek-O-Kut Challenger.

Consonant is an arts collective based in Philadelphia that runs a record label and a micro-press. Its founding members are Katie and Joe, a married couple, and we frequently collaborate with friends and co-conspirators in the U.S. and abroad. We aim to put out high-quality DIY releases that maintain a feeling of fun and whimsy.
