Salvation by Electrovot
Salvation is the new single/EP released by the Tijuana Mexico band, Electrovot, comprising Mikel Andrew (song writer/synthesist) Roberto Carrillo (lyricist/vocalist) and Fabrizio ‘Sven’ Chollet (lyricist/vocalist). It was produced along with a number of remixes from Electrovot’s debut album, Turning Point, by Chris Reynolds of the seminal 80’s synth pop band, Red Flag. This partnership later led Chris Reynolds to invite Rob Carrillo as a special guest to sing lead vocals on the one-off collaborative album, Serenity, released in 2012.
The Salvation EP includes two of the Red Flag remixes, for the tracks, “The One” and “Turning Point” with future plans to release the remaining remixes. Rounding out the EP is a demo version of another Turning Point era track, “Wasted Life”.
