The Fens by Cousin Silas
The Fens. Strangely beautiful yet, for me, sometimes dark and foreboding. Sinister and steeped in old traditions and folklore. Can't go too far without coming across pumping stations working 24/7 to keep the sea and water at bay. The drone of the stations forever a part of the landscape. The material on this release is very much darker than my usual ambient, reflecting that uneasy feeling I have around dark water.
