Lyrics
Carpet tiles are spread around the attic
There’s a stale smell hard to define
We moved all are stuff from our downtown apartment
Now I’m staring at my ground
Lost the gentle art of spending time
My body was in constant fight or flight
Carrying all that weight on those flights of stairs
Trying to fight of the demons
Knowing they wouldn’t leave
Nor could I
Through this small window
I can see the park from here
Of course I know
There’s not that much to fear
Our records found a new place in the living room
But it will take a while until I can enjoy them again
A collection of familiar things impose a feeling of impending doom/ Memories are hazy
The present is a blur
Through this small window
I can see the park from here
Sure I know
There’s not that much to fear
I’m just tired of everyone and everything all the time
Including myself
In this personal hell
