Spiritual jazz is going back to John Coltrane. The idea is interesting, because this modal playing should be a conversation with something bigger than the world. I do not know if this is true - but music is more than words and thoughts and phrases. Whatever it is - it makes us feel better.

ctraltu - ambient avantgarde music (jazzy minimal). Electric and acoustic sounds and instruments for rhythmic vamps under melodic fragments. Soundscapes like rushing through the night. ctraltu stands for three dimensions: control, alt and turn (=U). ctraltu is the project by heart from Thomas Steffen, musician from Dortmund, Germany.
