This album was written and recorded in nipaluna on the stolen land of the Muwinina people. We pay our respects to the Tasmanian Aboriginal people who are the ongoing Custodians of the land. Sovereignty was never ceded.

Somewhat off the beaten improvised music track, the Damien Kingston Quartet have been developing a new language, one representative of a distinct sound bubbling up from the southern most state in Australia. Merging elements of the jazz tradition and free improv with a love of loud pop & rock sit at the core of this music.
