The lady across the aisle from me is wearing long gloves
She spilled her coffee on my new blue jeans
The lady across the aisle from me is looking so sad
Not me, I’m glad I made it on the last train out
The lines were long and it took forever
But at last I’m in my seat
All aboard with all my stuff
On the last train out
The crowd was crowded
There was push and shoving
And we barely made it on
We barely made it but it’s alright now
We’re on the last train out
The lady across the aisle from me has got a cat box
I think it’s empty or the cat’s away
The cat’s away the mice do play
I busy myself counting sheep
The lady across the aisle from me is wearing long gloves
We made it on the last train
