Do you hear it?
Do you hear your soul calling out to you?
Begging you to reconnect to who you are?
To who you truly are?
When you feel the need to cry out
When you can't stand the mundanity of life
When you feel the longing for something beautiful, awesomely deep, upright, and holy
When you want to call out to your soul, but you don't know where it is.
At that point you should know that this longing is not you wanting to call out to your soul,
It's actually your Soul Calling out to you.
G-d should bless us all to listen to this calling and allow it to lead us down its most wondrous path of wisdom & light.
This is my first album. Recorded in sessions from 1997-1999.

Daniel Gil is a composer, ethnomusicologist, orchestrator, producer, performer, a graduate of Berklee College of Music, and holds an MFA in composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts. In October 2023 Daniel’s string quartet, Peacemaking In Three Movements (Navona Records,) was nominated to the first round of voting for the 66th annual Grammy awards Contemporary Classical Composition category.
