Firepit from Firepit/Sticky by Dark Ages
The second Dark Ages forthcoming album “Aegis” is a departure from the first eponymous album. Bandleader Tom Shad decided that it should be a vocal album . He recruited singers from many different styles and backgrounds to write melodies and lyrics to his and Nick Didkovsky’s compositions . They were performed and , to some degree, improvised with the new band which adds Jacob Sunshine on guitar, Colin Marston on six string bass and Alex Cohen on drums to original members Tom Shad and Nick Didkovsky.
The first single has Jerry Lang from Poison idea singing the A side and Cynthia Sley of the Bush Tetras singing the B-side.
The second single features Ben Spees and Oliver Campbell of Mercury Tree on lead vocals and backing screams on "Sticky" respectively.
The remaining five tracks are, for now, a mystery but seven more vocalists will be featured on those tracks
