Built to vent the anger I've been repressing over a months-old situation I couldn't hope to control, I made a fairly problematic piece of music. Emotions are almost never "correct" for the situation, but we have to face them regardless, don't we?
I have experienced genuine relief since completing this track, because like the sample that dominates it's runtime, there is pain behind the anger, and once that is revealed, it can be healed.
I don't often look at music as therapy (because it's not, and a lot of musicians, as well as people in general, would benefit from actual therapy) but this creative process was expository and legitimately healing. So I'm sharing with you the darkness that revealed itself.

The main sample of the track is the rapper B.O.B. who posted the recording to social media, apparently upset about a decrease in his fan's engagement. Honestly, I'd trade places in a second to get the amount of fandom he has, and you'd never hear me complain, but I do believe his frustration to be genuine, if misplaced.
Otherwise we've got the usual, field recorded sounds modified into a danceable cataclysm.
