A retro-futuristic, cyberpunk concept album set in a dystopian 2019.
'Stupid Future' takes its musical influences from Electronic Body Music, Industrial, Dark Italo, Detroit Techno, Acid House, Rave, Dark Wave, Electro, Electronica, Post-Punk, Digital Dub, Sy-fi movie scores, 80s Synthpop, New Beat and 90s UK Dance Music.
Artists like Front 242, Nitzer Ebb, NIN, Galaxy 2 Galaxy, Drexciya, Juan Atkins, The Prodigy, Dub Syndicate, Leftfield, The Hacker, Anthony Rother, Human League, Patrick Cowley, Marshall Jefferson, Kraftwerk, Erol Alkan, Laurent Garnier, Mr Oizo and Mantronix are just a few of the production inspirations.
The title of this album ‘Stupid Future’ relates to the concept of humanity, culture and art becoming more moronic, less potent, and no longer able to revolutionise change in the world.
