Kogarashi Improvisations by David Voss
A series of improvisations based upon the haikai contained within the collection entitled Kogarashi (木枯らし). Kogarashi was a kasen (a 36-verse sequence of haiku) written by a number of prominent haikai poets in 17th-century Japan, including Bashō.

David Voss is a composer, singer-songwriter, pianist, and mandolinist who lives in Brooklyn. He received his master's degree in music composition from Stony Brook University and works as a church organist and choir director.
