STETS by Deletions
If memory serves us right, we had these tracks as rehearsal space demos. We wanted to approach this new album with an additional set of ears and insight. We reached out to Drew Wilburne (Benchpress, Big Lush, Big Happy) who had recently built a really nice studio in Harrisburg. We agreed to start the recordings on March 14th and 15th of 2020. The entire weekend was starting to be overshadowed by announcements of a 2-week lock down. We recorded all the drums and bass parts over that weekend, with the intention to come back a few weeks later and finish the synths, guitars, and vocals. Fast-forward about 1 year and 3 months, and we finally got back into the studio to finish it up. Drew took time to make it sound great and mixed it for us. We had a deadline to hit so the mastered tracks would get to the pressing plant for a limited run of 100 records. Unfortunately that fell through. So, finally, 3 years after the recording process started, we finally are letting out into the world as a limited cassette release and digital download. We hope you like the result. Thanks to Drew Wilburne for sticking with all of this over the 3 year process.
