Inner, an experimental electronic album from Dexter Story produced by music curator and creative director Rani de Leon. The record is built as an inward journey — reflective, playful, and personal — guided by memory, instinct, and trust. The cover, a collage of childhood photographs, traces a line from early imagination to the present moment, honoring the quiet continuity of growth and becoming. This digital release is on Dexter Story’s independent label MAI Recordings, an acronym for music, art and inspiration. “I am releasing this independently as a gesture of gratitude and connection, and as a gentle prelude to my forthcoming northeast African-influenced album with SOUNDWAY RECORDS arriving in summer 2026."
