Restless Walks by The Distance

Restless Walks is a new collection of acoustic covers of some of the greatest songs we've ever heard. Each and every track is one that we love and this record saw none of the usual debate, compromise or negotiation that usually goes on between us when we're coming up with a tracklist.

Our greatest hope for this album is that we've put together a series of unskippable tracks that will make you want to keep listening from start to finish. The world is a busy place and being given the ear of our listeners for even a moment is a truly humbling feeling.

The Distance are an acoustic-ish duo based in Northern England which is a bit like Southern America.

They have so far sucessfully avoided having to spend any time at all outside among the baying crowds by carving out a humble living as musicians.

They dream of one day giving it all up to raise geese on the falkland islands, but the rents are prohibitive and their sat-nav is crap.
