This production is a collaborative effort of Jakarta-based DIVISI62 and Berlin-based DISK (formerly known as Diskant). It features 4 tracks by the constituents of DIVISI62 that are inspired by Indonesia’s urban slums, dangdut and pencak silat.

"The shared approach to rhythm and drama is rather unique and original — like the samples. DIVISI62 draws from the rich musical heritage of Indonesia in terms of rhythm and sound, yet the producers are heavily influenced by global club culture and bass-music. This combination adds up to the most intriguing listening experience: strange virtual spaces mixing with all-too-real ones, creating a hyperreal spacial feel in which musical structures unfold in a highly unpredictable and deeply entrancing way."

"Jakarta comes via Berlin in four refreshing ways, taking in the interlocking gamelan and gruff-to-sweet flute lines of Marsesura’s Asmoro, which weirdly also recalls some Timbaland or Neptunes beat from the early ‘00s, next to the splashing and rolling clangour and swagger of Uwalmassa’s first entry to the EP, Untitled 10. Their next follows flipside with combination of swingeing syncopation and fragrant vocal samples coming off like Shackleton dubbing Senyawa, while Wahono teases out the colourful, angular plumage of Pakar Gula Gending from a minimalist palette of gamelan chimes." - Boomkat Review
