Outer Space by Dizgo
“Outer Space” is a metaphorical exploration of our intimate connection with the universe and the nature of reality. Through layered story-telling, the song bridges the vast and the personal, suggesting that when we live with open hearts and radiate love, we unlock a sense of awe that propels us beyond the ordinary, similar to being launched into outer space.
“Outer Space” captures the feeling of the band's collective musical lift-off - a journey into the unknown. Which is why it has become the banner for Dizgo’s year-long 2025 tour. “The Outer Space Tour” took us across the country and back more than once. The tour will end with a two night New Years Eve Run at home in Indiana, at the aptly-named Moontown Brewing Company where the band will metaphorically return from orbit.
The song was originally recorded by us in our studio space, but we worked with a team of friends from Nashville who helped bring it to life. It was produced by Julius Wilder, mixed by Maddie Harmon, and mastered by Dan Shike. This is the first time we have worked with a team like this for a song release & the experience was rewarding in more ways than one. Sonically speaking, we are proud to say this is the best release in our catalog and we have the three of them to thank for it.”
