Relentless by Dogwood Daughter
Rhythmic folk with almost a macabre Medieval sound.
One of the first songs I ever wrote (about eight years ago now.) I was chaperoning a school field trip to a major amusement park in Atlanta, Ga. I sat down on a bench and watched a parade of humanity, thousands of people, pass by. As I watched, I scribbled these lyrics on a scrap of notebook paper. I didn't feel very well either, so perhaps my eye was jaundiced by my sick stomach. This was also one of the first recordings I did, right after I bought recording equipment. I did it in the living room while the kids were at school and my husband was at work. Now I've got a studio behind my house. Yippee!
