Heard by Dong Zhou
Here are the sound materials of the installation I created together with Yujue Liang.
Yujue took footage of visually impaired children in China and asked them about their feeling when they heard the sounds of electronic vehicles for the first time.
I was surprised by how they perceive the world and their imagination. I created sounds inspired by their words. Every track is related to one child, the installation plays three sounds at once and the audience can choose their listening position.
