Ritus Gunung by Daniel Milán Cabrera (Don Hueleflores) & friends

“Ritus Gunung”, which means “The Mountain Rite”, is a contemporary music project directed by Daniel Milán Cabrera. It was made in 2011 with the support of the Artistic Residencies Program of the National Funds for Arts and Culture of the Mexican Government (FONCA, 2011), during the Darmasiswa Program (Culture and Education Ministery of Indonesia-Kemendikbud) studies of Daniel at STSI Bandung.

His work is focused on trova yucateca, mexican, latinamerican and indonesian traditional music; as well as free improvisation and soundscapes. His compositions vary from academic music to his own songs.
