Semblance by Dreamstate Seven

In early 2013, Dreamstate embarked on a journey to capture the sounds rattling around inside his head.

With years of classical piano training, countless drunken shenanigans rampaging across Canada with Nanochrist, and all other manner of living and breathing music, as Dreamstate himself would say; "What took you so long?!"

As a very unexpected offering from the highly animated character synonymous with ferocious work behind the decks of industrial and psytrance dancefloors and festivals, "Semblance" represents the culmination of recent musical explorations, as well as sets the stage for upcoming works.

"Semblance" draws upon Dreamstate's exhaustive influences of emotive and uplifting music, with a firm footing in new age, ambient, and chill out. From Enigma to Phutureprimitive and a smattering of other influences in between, there's not a single classification or genre that serves justice to this work.
