THREADS by Dremeka
"threads of our kind" is a musical allegory of what it means to be human. the songs touch upon relationships (friendship, broken family, romantic love), loneliness and, in the end, a feeling of togetherness and hope.
almost every sound on the album was made with guitar recordings. every shimmering textures, delicate bells and distant chords resonate, emerge and wane away. their fragility evokes the very thin, yet indestructible fibres of what holds us together.
