Doing Movies by P.N.A.TS.H.

Since the very beginning P.N.A.T.S.H music was connected to the movies because of Klaus´ big faible for the motion pictures. One of our very first songs "Woman in Black" from the very first demo released in Februar 1990 is inspired by the famous film "La mariée était en noir" by François Truffaut. Another early song " Cannibals" tells the story of Greenaways "The cook, the thief, his wife & her Lover". At the same time PNATSH was doing the soundtrack of the Stefan Hayn short films "Pissen" and "Tuntenfilm". This colaboration strengthened with Klaus writing the soundtracks for Hayn´s "Klassenkampf in Amerika" and "Fontvella´s Box" only partly performed by PNATSH, but also by a classic string quartet and early 1990´s gay subculture star Melitta Sundström. Finally NY subculture idol Jack Smith is either the protagonist of a Stefan Hayn movie as for the frist track of P.N.A.T.S.H´s last record SMASHIT in 1994. Reasons enough to edit this recordings under the title of "Doing Movies". It gathers a bunch of wild, experimental, merely 60´s oriented pop and punk songs, all of them written by "the stringkillig homosexual", Klaus Barm.
