As the term dubstep disappeared out of the spotlights a few years ago, the true meaning of the genre is starting to shine through again. The Belgian platform duploc.com focuses on promoting dubstep in all its diversity. Eventually the platform became one of the main references for quality within dubstep. Along the way founder Pieter Grauwels launched his very own label in April 2015. Recently praised by UKF as one of the “10 essential new labels”, the imprint celebrates its first anniversary by announcing the release of its debut vinyl record.
DUPLOC is releasing a 12-inch vinyl featuring two highly anticipated singles "Torodial" and "Shifted" from none other than resident ARtroniks. He has been featured earlier on the label with appearances on DUPLOC005 and DUPLOC009 and now it’s time to welcome back Belgium’s dubstep frontman for DUPLOC012. ARtroniks is a respected resident in and around his home town Ghent. Although internationally he’s not passing by unnoticed, as the 23-year-old is strongly supported by DJ N-Type and J:Kenzo on their Rinse FM shows. Above all he was the first Belgian who had an episode on GetDarkerTV. This instalment contains 100% Belgian brewed and bottled dubstep.
