LIFT by DUSKCLOUD
Bookended by what we hear superficially as generic "lift music", the album explores the inner emotions of the lift that hide beneath the façade. I see this as a metaphor for the mask that we put on to the world around us, lest we bely our inner workings and feelings at play.
I saw in the lift analogies for many of our experiences, and took inspiration for each track from these.
Made using midi instruments and drum machines.
