Little Sunshine from Methodic Dreams by Easy Velvet
Produced, played & recorded live in different places in Thailand between May 2022 and July 2024, "Methodic Dreams" is the second of a two-part project. It had time to mature and evolve in between each live event. An editing has been done to separate and master each track.
After preparing the set, the tracks are "built" on the go as the party is going on, launching or withdrawing any element and melting each part with the next adding weird sounds and ambiances. Around 600 loops, samples and recorded elements have been used to build this very unique set.
Please note that this is not a DJ set, but an Original Live Set.
As some would name it, an "Ecstatic Sound Journey".
Easy Velvet produces trippy downtempo music, merging melodic trip hop & abstract hip hop in a kind of cinematic way. The dusty beats & samples, mixed with oriental & ethnic vibes, classical strings, eastern voices, delays & psychedelic modulations will make you dive straight into this distinctive musical style.
