After a decade long hiatus, Shervin Bagheri started his ambient deep house project Heimat, building upon 12 years of classical music training. Through the medium of live instruments, vocals and analog synthesis, Heimat embarks a journey into our collective memory on a quest to find home.

We had the pleasure to meet him in our real 'Heimat' two weeks ago where he played a stunning live set at @rauscharm to create a really nice and familiar evening. Later we headed into the mountains. Seems like it becomes tradition that everybody releasing on Echoes needs to go climbing with us:)
