Is the earth happy about a world without humans? When you consider what humans have done to the blue planet so far, this question seems anything but visionary and not a little unreal. Are overexploitation and destruction as a result of "subdue the earth" really all that humanity is capable of? Have we forgotten what really matters? Have we ever known or paid attention to it?

After "Room (Raum)", Ulf Müller and Manfred Thomaser also take an extremely critical view of people's actions on their new single "Free (Gratis)". "We've created our own dead ends that we regularly drive into, only to find ourselves standing in front of a wall without understanding," says Ulf. And Manfred continues: "Yet planet Earth is paradise, a gift for life. But we wander from horizon to horizon and from abyss to abyss."

Dancing, because that's what we copied from Death. SynthPop meets melancholy, pop walks in darkness.

Über eine Welt ohne Menschen freut sich die Erde? Wenn man bedenkt, was Menschen dem blauen Planeten bislang angetan haben, scheint diese Frage alles andere als visionär und kein bisschen irreal. Sind Raubbau und Zerstörung als Ergebnis von „Macht euch die Erde untertan“ wirklich alles, was die Menschheit kann? Wir haben vergessen, was wirklich zählt? Haben wir es je gewusst bzw. darauf geachtet?

Nach „Room (Raum)“ betrachten Ulf Müller und Manfred Thomaser das Handeln von Menschen auch auf ihrer neuen Single „Free (Gratis)“ äußerst kritisch. „Wir haben uns unsere eigenen Sackgassen erschaffen, in die wir regelmäßig hineinfahren, um verständnislos vor einer Wand zu stehen,“ sagt Ulf. Und Manfred fährt fort: „Dabei ist der Planet Erde das Paradies, ein Geschenk für Leben. So irren wir von Horizont zu Horizont und von Abgrund zu Abgrund weiter.“

Und dies tanzend, denn das haben wir uns beim Tod abgeschaut. SynthPop trifft auf Melancholie, Pop wandelt in Finsternis.
