She was sensible or so it seemed

He was older and so popular
Talented and the center of attention
She was overwhelmed he'd noticed her
She was his selection
And he said I love you I love you
And I want you to know
He said do you love me
She did not reply

Now she'd had friends but not this many
lots of people wanted to talk
She noticed the boys want her now
She told them all to walk

She was violated
She was innocent no longer
She broke up with him
