Harbinger by Electrocutioner
Emerging from New York's snarling underground, Electrocutioner have channeled their raw DIY spirit into "Harbinger." The trio--Mark Pursino (guitar/vocals/synth), Rich Nieves (bass), and Tyler Bogliole (drums)--linger in the shadow of thrash legends like Whiplash, Slayer, and Exorcist, yet they sharpen the formula with precise songwriting, blistering riffs, and catchy gang-chant choruses.
Set to strike this fall, Harbinger amplifies the cinematic horror-laced motifs and speed-driven riffage showcased on their 2023 debut, False Idols (which rocked reviewers with its basement-crafted charm and synth-spiked interludes).
Each track is steeped in old-school energy yet refined by modern clarity. Moments of synth-driven dread punctuate the chaos, offering brief, eerie respites before the band detonates again in a final explosion of speed and darkness.
