IDols is the first studio album by Eli Arbor, and features artists Jae, gage, Kae, and Meetus, and producers C4 Productions, faruhdey, EAGLEBABEL, MZZZA, Jamarco Shaw and Ωzbud. A 2 Disc project, each side represents one of his artistic and ideological idols, Mike Vallely and Donald Glover, in order to better showcase who Eli Arbor is as an artist and person. It explores many themes, from sexual assault, to gentrification, to reliance on relationships as a measure of worth.
Eli Arbor is an artist Rochester New York, based out of Austin TX. He grew up listening to hardcore and pop-punk, and his music seeks to incorporate the ethos and forms found in these genres. He is a storyteller, whose influences include Childish Gambino, The Notorious B.I.G, P.O.S., The Wonder Years, Tupac Shakur, The Game, Big K.R.I.T., and Such Gold.
