Below Waves by Elleodin

Below Waves is a dusky romantic track, which takes place at the bottom of a metaphorical ocean. Elleodin combines warm synthesisers, haunting vocals, which weave in and out of instrumentals, with a dusty trip-hop style beat. The result is a track which encapsulates the feeling of a dark, yet enticing relationship.

Fun fact: the characters in the artwork are based on Nomi and Amanita from the show Sense 8, which Mylène and I have a mutual love for.

Another fun fact: the song itself is inspired by relationships between characters in Bojack Horseman.

Working under the pseudonym Elleodin, Lara Mason is a British electronic music producer, vocalist, multi-instrumentalist and visual artist. Dream-like and full of vibrant experimental sounds, Elleodin’s latest work explores subjects such as liminality, boundaries and magical realism, reaching for the fabric of experience and (be)longing - of places real and imagined.
