Berenika from Helium Balloons by Elliott Armen
Je faisais du wwoofing dans une ferme familiale au Sud-Est de la République Tchèque. Un soir, les parents nous avaient confié leur petite fille de six mois, « Berenika ». Entre le froid glacial porté par des vents hurlants et la nuit profonde dans laquelle nous plongeait la forêt, Berenika n’arrivait pas à dormir. J’ai sorti mon ukulele devant la vieille cuisinière à bois. C’est alors que Berenika et sa maison m’ont inspiré cette berceuse.
