Maternity from Wingprinting by Emiliano Toso
A tune for the mother and her sweetness during childbearing; the moment when she perceives that the child is in her womb, when she becomes aware that a new soulis in her, her life is changing. I think of the sensations that a new mother feels at that moment: the fears, the curiosity, the joy, the listening for any sign that her baby is there, alive in her belly. The tune alternates phrases of the child and the mother, then their voices finally become one in the final dance.
