Kept my steady-on pace for days
I followed a path through the woods
Silver arrows shot through a black haze

Where are you now?
Stripe of a summer rainbow?
You showed me how
To chart the stars to freedom
I looked away

I go dark like a stranger
With my intricate danger
In this hideaway

On the trail through my days

In a broken old safe in the corner

A stone in my winter garden?
