Everything is changing. The world is eroding. I no longer understand the ground I walk upon. Cracks split what was once whole. Who are we to you, if we're anything at all?

I concluded my last record with the hope that "If your love is strong enough, maybe I can brave the bend." Cracked Familiars is the essence of what bends us. It is a desperate human nature. cloying for well-regard. It is everything we thought we knew, crumbling into unfamiliar disrepair. Letting the stone break away feels like the easiest option.

Even still, we're held and we hold, even if to nothing we can see. Reflect, breathe, and see where grace lands. We will witness our ruination reverse into gold.
