Point 2 by D/FORM

It went a little like this. Back in 2018, my friend Sound Psychologist and I were still in high school, learning how to make music together and on our own. When we would visit each other, we would set up "jam sessions" with Psych's synth collection where we would simply press play and see what we could come up with. These jams could be anywhere from a few minutes to multiples hours of nonstop playing. What resulted was a hard drive filled to the brim with musical concepts and ideas just begging to be expanded upon. So, that's what we did.

Over the course of these past 5 years, we traded ideas back and forth a lot. This resulted in our first album attempt in 2019 in "Point 1". It was short, and to the point: Vibey dance tracks with a techno edge. As we grew and gained experience, our jams got better, as did our setups, as did our production. It became apparent that we had enough ideas to continue on, but because of the collaborative nature of these albums, they are much more intensive to produce than an average Eris Soundworks project.

Now we are here, 3 years after Point 1, at the release of Point 2! I hope you enjoy the fruits of our labor. We don't do it for money or fame, we do it because we love it.
