About this track:
"Gnarled" is the third track on Étale's debut album, "Phynai", the first part of a two-part concept album. Released in tandem with the complementary fifth track, "They Grow Toward the Light", on "Phynai", the aural experience of "Gnarled" stands in marked contrast to that of "They Grow Toward the Light", exploring natural growth in a darker light.
