Vanishing Moment by Abraço de Vapor

4 years ago I launched LILA लीला with the debut release from Abraço de Vapor (https://eternell.bandcamp.com/album/nocturn-i-v). Though I had decided against taking up any more musical guises after letting most of them go to rest, when 'Nocturn I' arrived in full force it rapidly expanded far beyond the fluid boundaries of any previous framing, both in scope and intensity.

I seem to naturally process life in 4 year cycles. Most of my music albums need around that much time to mature, and it also seems like enough time for me to gauge what is happening in my world. The larger movements.

This second entry from the most expansive of my musical bodies partly reflects a vision I've held for as long as I can remember, of creating cosmic pulsing techno that feels like it will go on forever. This album feels like peeking through an eternal window, catching a brief glimpse of that view and letting it be imprinted into sound. The beginning steps of a journey that will go on forever. The rhythmic pulses remain couched in vast ambient spaces not confined to the human sphere – the changeless essence of Abraço de Vapor.
