Schon by Etyen
Lebanese veteran musician and producer Etyen, dubbed 'Electronica Giant' (Bandcamp Daily) releases the first of a series of singles, originally conceived as part of his live set, performed at the likes of Sonar Barcelona and RBMA Festival in Montreal, at the peak of his club performances and dance floor touring days between '16 & '19.
With influences of Melodic House, Techno & Electronica, 'Schon' exhibits Etyen's masterful melodic compositions set to a high-energy groove, and the artist's signature organic production approach.
While Schon is very much a four-to-the-floor dance track, Etyen's use of catchy melodic hooks, and his unique creative approach of mixing raw elements, recorded vocals and dreamy synthesized sounds, give the song a timeless quality, reminiscent of the work of great artists within the realm, such as Stephan Bodzin & Rival Consoles, but with a grittier and punk-ish attitude.
