Beautiful Day from Everything by Eureka Machines

To round off the album, I wanted to give it an arc of redemption and positivity, as is usually the (our) way.

My girlfriend and I were a bit hungover, so we were going to the park on a lovely sunny day to hang out, read (me) and nap (her), and have some ice pops. I said to her as we were walking down, 'it's a beautiful day for a beautiful day'.

And it really was.

Again, gratitude for what you have, rather than what you don't have. Yes, we were in Leeds, not Gran Canaria. Yes, we were a bit hungover. And yes, the park is nicknamed 'Dogshit Park. But we had the perfect afternoon of recovery, followed by a few recovery pints and a curry at the majestic Sheesh Mahal after.

A truly beautiful day, and I felt like remembering it in a song. X
