#Jihaudio is a furious and unflinching dispatch from the underground—an album of "Audio Jihad" composed in the aftermath of legal harassment by Warner Brothers' lawyers. Waqar's independent label, Such Records (Urdu for "Truth Records"), was targeted for allegedly sounding too similar to Nonesuch Records. Unable to withstand the legal onslaught against the corporate giant, the label was forced to dissolve. In response, Waqar retreated into creative exile, and from that exile came this scorched-earth sound.

The album is notable for being the first to describe its rhythmic foundation using the term “tala”, a concept from Indian classical music used to structure experimental electronica. "Teen tala" is a wordplay on teenager and the components of the rhythmic term: teen meaning 3, and tala meaning clap ("teenage clap mix"). Drawing heavily on teentaal, the 16-beat cycle, the tracks on #Jihaudio reinterpret traditional rhythmic systems through a warped electronic lens.


With clear nods to Jungle and Drum and Bass this record mashes distorted loops, drone textures, and jagged beats into a ritualistic soundscape, this is resistance music channeled through haunted circuitry—a djinn-possessed experimental electronica cry from deep inside the machine.

Evilartform is the sonic lab of Omar Pitras Waqar, fusing drum machines, synths, sampling, musique concrète, IDM, and hip hop into hypnotic, fractured beats. Rooted in diasporic mysticism and DIY grit, Evilartform builds glitchy rituals from cultural debris—noise as resistance, rhythm as memory, distortion as healing.
