Guitarist since a very young age and member of number of bands, especially trip-hop, French producer Maxime Henaux creates rather short but dense tracks to be out of step with the French electronic music scene, mostly dominated by house and techno.

“I like to create tracks that invite to an active listening, rather centered on the mind than on the physical perception.

In favor of eclecticism I do not limit myself to a specific genre but try to make a synthesis of all musical styles that I like in order to create something different.”

ABSTe or «absent» bears witness to the idea of separation with the omnipresence and importance of the «image» of the artist in current music and arts. Let the music live by and for itself.
