Found Sound by Faded

For their second album "Found Sound", FADED are inspired by the purity of a love of music...
Dub and electro influences are underlined by the pop of Postcard/Factory era. The track "Chemical" is an ode to the epiphanies of discovering clubbing in one's teens, spending Wednesday nights in Indie establishments, Saturdays loved up in house clubs. Moods swiftly transition from the light of the blissed out electronica of "Like A Lover", to the trippy disco of "Darkly".
A big shift from the self confessed lo-fi meanderings of their first full length effort/album, this time around we get added depth and warmth - partly due to the production skills of Sydney based multi-instrumentalist Ken McCormack.

"We hit upon a perfect writing process, remotely throwing ideas at each other most days to great effect", says singer and wordsmith Dave Beattie.
"We do this yet still maintain a real band mentality, often feeling like a different band each time."
Music teacher and FADED guitarist David Bass (teacher of a young Calvin Harris) brings to the table an open minded mantra of 'music is music', eschewing genre pigeonholes.
The backbone of this album is provided by drummer Fergus Henderson. Being part of a rich history of bands since the nineties, his input here is integral and natural to the ever evolving sound.
Work has already begun on the third Opus, but until then enjoy Found Sound...
