Psalm 127:3-5

June wedding colors green and Pearl
Then soon a shower for a baby girl.
The father strings his bow and prays.
On that third afternoon of May
A blessed arrow made her way.

He smiles at his arrow full of joy.
And then the heartbeat of a baby boy.
The father straps his sheath and prays.
On that fifth December day
The second arrow made his way.

The father kisses you and holds you in his hands.
You are the blessings that he treasures as a man.
He keeps you at the ready as he walks the land.
And praying for you all the while,
Can’t help but think of you and smile.

He smiles at his arrows in God’s world.
He’s now expecting another girl.
He cleans his quiver and he prays.
Then in June—the eighteenth day
The final arrow made her way.

The father kisses you and holds you in his hands.
You are the blessings that he treasures as a man.
He keeps you at the ready as he walks the land.
And praying for you all the while,
Can’t help but think of you and smile.

He smiles because, although these arrows cause his heart to soar, he knows
A father up above who loves us even more!
